Bedtime Snack

While I eat my bedtime snack...I'll do a quick post. Bedtime snacks are so fun. I remember back in the day when my brother and I had hot chocolate for bedtime snacks. No wonder I peed the bed.
My bedtime snack tonight is Wheaties. I'll probably have some when I first wake up too. And then choke down some scrambled eggs and a piece of sausage for protein. They're normally delicious when I'm not in this condition.
Anyway, I just thought I would post a picture of our new car.... And then off to bed I must go. (After a session of putting Palmer's lotion on my belly). Speaking of belly, here it is as Week 17. Paige thinks she has a baby sister AND a baby brother in there. Yikes!

Here is our new ride. Still have the Olds...Jesse is really excited to take it over for awhile ;) I've always liked Jeep Cherokees for some reason, and we had our pick of many, but we listened to our mechanic's advice and got the one with the best engine, and this one checked out the best with his inspection, and is the Jeep Limited with leather interior, etc. Very nice.

August Highlights

"Momma! I did it! I rode around and around with Dadda"

Paige polishes her pretty white dress shoes to get ready for a wedding. She has really gotten into wearing "pretty dress" and flowers in her hair - which is fun for mommy too!

The infamous pig wrestling at the fair. Never in a million years did I imagine I would see my husband chasing and trying to catch a pig! haha. Our friend (also the owner of the place we rent, and our prized mechanic, and my boss' husband, and, and and....) basically 'challenged' Jesse into doing it. So Jesse had to do it to prove everyone wrong that he had no problem getting dirty and rolling in the mud and hugging a pig. Jesse even proposed that they wear dress clothes to spice up the event. They got the pig in the barrell after a few face plants in the mud, riding the pig, etc. but they didn't have the fastest time. Honestly, the ones with the faster times weren't near as entertaining so I think these guys win the Best of Show prize!

While waiting for our friends at the carnival we ran into our old neighbor girl and her mom and brothers. They were our neighbors in the townhouse we lived in before we moved to Missoula. We will always remember her as "Ashley-Next-Door" because one time she brought over a Valentine card for Paige and when I answered the door she said, "This is for Paige-Next-Door." She has grown up so much since then. She was so excited to take Paige under her wing and on every ride possible. As you can see in the three pictures below they had a great time and Ashley sure was helpful to Paige, holding her hand on the 'scary' rides, etc.

Later we met up with our friends and their kids Ava and Tyson. Ava and Paige are exactly two months apart and have a really good time together. As do us parents.

And now I present to you, Paige in concert. Once again in pretty dress and flower-in-hair. It seems that combination makes her want to sing and dance for us :)

Look at those eyes, really getting into it. This is typical when she hits the high notes.

At this point she had pulled out her potty chair from the bathroom and used it as a stage AND threw on her rocker sunglasses and REALLY jammed out for us. Oh that reminds me, remember the shoe polishing picture from above? That was before a wedding we were attending - and she REALLY put on a concert for us AND the video camera that time. If my husband will ever get around to it we will post it on here - so stay tuned (or shall I say tooned? Oh I am too cheesey).

We've moved on from our daily routine of dressing care bears in lotion, diapers, dresses, socks, shoes, and hats to building towers as high as we/she can. Look at this! She is just so amazing. Very talented I'd say ;) (Sigh, why is there ALWAYS a laundry basket or two laying around in the background of our pictures?)

Alas, remember I said my maternity shirts looked kinda funny right now? Well here is a me in a black garbage bag aka maternity shirt. Will I really pop the belly out of this? Sooner than I think probably. It actually kind of looks like I have a belly already, but I think that's just the shirt.

Oh wait, I DO have a baby bump already, at least that's what I'm calling it. BabyCenter tells me my baby is only the size of an avocado...pretty sure the size of this belly would fit a few avocados. I can't believe I'm posting this picture (below)of myself. It is not flattering at all. Oh well. Why lie. My eyes look tired, because they are - my face is chubby because that's what happens when I'm pregnant - my arms look white and not-toned because I haven't gotten to enjoy summer or visit the gym - my hair looks dumb because I need to do something different with it - and my smile just isn't big enough to show how excited I really am about having a baby. I'll smile bigger next time. Ok, yeah, now I'm going to delete the picture. You'll never see it! HAHA! (I'll take another and post later).
